Italian dry white wine Orvieto D.O.C. from grapes Procanico 50%, 25% Verdelho, 25% Grechetto
Characteristics of the vineyard: The grapes that make up the dry Orvieto are produced exclusively by the Sergio Mottura in Civitella d'Agliano. Each grape variety is vinified separately until the time of assembly which is normally in January.
Maturation: Stainless steel for four months. Refinement: In the bottle for two months. Longevity: Best if used within two years from harvest.
Color: Straw yellow. Perfume: Fruity, fragrant and highly typical of the production area with hints of wild mint and aromatic herbs. Taste: Dry but inviting, with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
Food pairings: Perfect as an aperitif or with dishes typical of this area: lasagna, spaghetti served with seasonal vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, tomato and mozzarella concassé), crepes with asparagus, chicken and rabbit with olives, salt cod stewed dishes fish in general, fresh cheeses.
