This red italian wine is made of a fine selection of Merlot, Sangiovese and Montepulciano. Matured and stored for 18 months in French barrique oak barrels. A dark ruby red is accompanied by intesive fruit aromas of black cherries, red barries and cassis as well as nuances of lacrice and juniper. Nose and mouth are charmed in the opening but also in the long finish with fine tannins. The barrel notes of cocoa, vanilla and some tobacco accompany this wine.
Drinking maturity:immediate or stored; with optimum storage a minimum of 8 years. Drinking temperature: 18-22 °C, open the bottle 30 minutes before drinking. Bottle closing: natural cork. Alcohol content: 13% vol. Matching to: red meat, finest barbeques, roast meat, chees, venison and Mediterranean cooking.
